If your car was towed because you were involved in an accident, in any Police or Sheriff jurisdiction you need the following;

1. ID
2. Current registration
3. Proof of insurance

If your vehicle was towed by the Torrance Police Department because of any vehicle code violation you must go to the Torrance Police Department, Records Division (310) 328-3456 (www.tpd.torrnet.com) and secure a vehicle release. Bring the release to our facility at 2755 Lomita Blvd, Torrance

If you car was towed by the Palos Verdes Estates Police Department because of any vehicle code violation you must go to the Palos Verdes Estates Police Department, Front Desk (310) 378 4211 (www.palosverdes.com/pvepd) and secure a vehicle release. Bring the release to our facility at 20621 Earl St., Torrance

If your vehicle was towed by the Manhattan Beach Police Department for either of the following reasons:

1. Hold for evidence or further investigation
2. Suspended driver’s license

Then you must secure a release from the Manhattan Beach Police Department, front desk, (310) 802-5100 (http://www.ci.manhattan-beach.ca.us/police/). If your vehicle was not towed for either of the above two reasons then no release is required, however you must bring ID, current registration, and proof of insurance to our facility at 20621 Earl St., Torrance

If your vehicle was towed by the El Camino Police Department because of any vehicle code violation you must go to the El Camino Police Department, Front Desk (310) 660-3100 (www.elcamino.cc.ca.us/police) and secure a vehicle release. Bring the release to our facility at 20621 Earl St., Torrance

If your vehicle was towed by the Lawndale Sheriff’s station for all vehicle code violations except evidence holds you must bring ID, Current registration, and Proof of insurance. If your vehicle was impounded as evidence you must secure a release from the Lawndale Sheriffs (310) 219-2750(www.lasd.org/stations/for2/lennox/lawndale.html) prior to retrieving your vehicle If your vehicle was impounded on a 30 day hold you must wait 30 calendar days to retrieve your vehicle unless otherwise released by the Sheriff’s station. Bring the required documents to our facility at 20621 Earl St., Torrance

If your vehicle was towed by the Lennox Sheriff’s station for all vehicle code violations except evidence holds you must bring ID, Current registration, Proof of insurance and an administrative fee receipt (obtained at the Lennox station front desk) If your vehicle was impounded as evidence you must secure a release from the Lennox Sheriffs (310) 671-7531 (www.lasd.org/stations/for2/lennox/) prior to retrieving your vehicle. If your vehicle was impounded on a 30 day hold you must wait 30 calendar days to retrieve your vehicle unless otherwise released by the Sheriff’s station. Bring the required documents to our facility at 1149 S. La Brea, Inglewood or 20621 Earl St., Torrance. **Call first to confirm which facility is storing your vehicle.**

If your vehicle was towed by the Inglewood Police Department for any of the following reasons:

1. Hold for prints
2. Hold for evidence
3. Unlicensed driver
4. Suspended license
5. Driver Arrested
6. Expired registration
7. Parking violations
8. VIN verification

Then you must secure a release from the Inglewood Police Department, Traffic Division (310) 412-5207 (www.cityofinglewood.org/depts/police). If your vehicle was not towed for any of the above eight reasons then no release is required, however you must bring ID, current registration, and proof of insurance to our facility at 1149 S. La Brea, Inglewood
